RESTAURANT RECRUITMENT SALES MANAGER
TOTAL COMPENSATION: UP TO $100,000

Job description

The International Margarita Organization (IMO) is seeking a Restaurant Recruitment Sales Manager to spearhead restaurant partnerships for our Margarita Festivals across 40+ cities in 2025. This is a high-energy sales role focused on recruiting local restaurants to compete for the Best Margarita title in their city. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven sales professional who thrives on outreach, relationship-building, and closing deals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit 10+ restaurants per city to participate in the Margarita Festival competition.

  • Conduct outbound sales efforts via calls, emails, and social media outreach to restaurant owners and decision-makers.

  • Pitch the value of participation, including brand exposure, customer engagement, and the opportunity to win the Best Margarita title and $1,000 prize.

  • Overcome objections and secure restaurant commitments by effectively communicating the benefits of participation.

  • Guide restaurants through the sign-up process, ensuring they complete registration and pay the $200-$300 entry fee.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant partners to encourage repeat participation in future festivals.

  • Track outreach efforts, commitments, and payments in CRM software (or other tracking tools).

  • Collaborate with the IMO team to maximize restaurant participation in every city and ensure a strong lineup of competitors.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 2+ years of sales experience (preferably in event sales, hospitality, or restaurant partnerships).

  • Proven ability to cold call, prospect, and close deals with decision-makers.

  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Familiarity with restaurants, bars, or the hospitality industry is a plus.

  • Experience using CRM tools to track outreach and conversions is preferred.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

  • Commission & Bonuses: Estimated total compensation of $100,000+ per year
